Our story started
25 years ago.
Our story started 25 years ago. We entered the labour market in the 90s, with a view to helping enterprises in Italy and Switzerland to work better, be more ethical, and reach objectives well beyond their expectations.
As it often happens during “well-being” journeys, we asked the people with whom we were lucky enough to share our growth to face new challenges which naturally lead to business trips to different places, to visit, explore and study.
Learning something new, different from what we already know or have already achieved, embarking on journeys which are sometimes apparently demanding but definitely exciting.
Year after year, we have increasingly understood that the real wealth within corporations is People, those who do their best in what they believe; also, we have also understood during our journeys what we really long for when we are far from home. All of us need to feel at Home, anywhere …
We have therefore decided to support professionals during the business trips we elicit them to go on, searching for them and creating for them spaces in which they can feel welcomed and inspired, even if they are far from their homes and habits.
This is how the story we want to tell you started, that of Smart Rooms Milano, which makes who is simply looking for a Room feel at Home.
Who is Smart Rooms?
We are a company made up of real people, who are planning to fulfil the shared desire of living well, as “well-being” goes hand in hand with “well-feeling”.
Where is M.C.Q. R2R?
We live in a large and beautiful Milan, where time never stops, where people go to live to, to fully enjoy its constant fast-paced rhythm, its 150 beats per minute of days that start at dawn with some jogging in a park and continue in bright glass office buildings.
That fast-paced time that only allows for a quick lunch, with the best colleagues only, to then chill out while walking along a window shop displaying the latest model of electrical car, enjoying a tasty ice-cream if the weather is nice.
And then back to the office again, tied up in a meeting or in front of a screen, until the sun goes down through the glass windows of the skyscraper; a brief SMS on the private group and everybody meets up on time for a cocktail…and then again, for those who cannot get enough, the city keeps awake, rich of options waiting to be enjoyed.
Next to this, in the same city, other people live: those who get ready for the same bright and shiny life, an army of younger people, who have come to Milan to study or work from all over the world, eager to experience a shared life, with a common shared dream and a shared goal.
Smart Rooms takes care of all of them, of both those who are and those who are to be, meeting their need of staying together and creating the place where “they can live, live with and share”; that same place they say bye to when they leave in the morning and they let themselves welcome by when they go back in the evening or at night.
How has Smart Rooms come this far?
M.C.Q. R2R needs to keep listening and improve itself, hosting guests and living in an ethical and harmonious way wherever it operates.
Its number-one priority is to identify the right characteristics for its tenants, creating, for each of them, a comfortable and bright environment that is always functional in time and throughout the day.
The second key step consists in the choice of investing in a place from which everything is easily reachable, offering access to all those services everybody’s well-being depends on, moving in an eco-friendly way through the city.
The third essential aspect is to recognise and fully meet the expectations of the owner of the property, increasing the value of the place where all the memories of a life are held within walls, thanks to the support of a real estate agent.
